The Board of Directors at BCM has been elected amongst our Policyholders to oversee the organization and provide strategic direction. They bring a wealth of knowledge, expertise and diverse perspectives to the table, and are committed to ensuring BCM’s success.

Joining the BCM Insurance Board in 1995, Domenic has worked on a number of Board Committees and has served as a Board Chair for two terms. A strong advocate of the Mutual Insurance industry and the community it serves, I am also the proud recipient of the Diamond Jubilee Award from her Majesty the Queen.
Elected to the board in 2016, my objective is to include using technology to modernize Board practices to better serve our members. I attended McMaster University and received a bachelor’s degree in engineering physics – after which I went on to be the 8th generation to run my family’s 220-year-old fruit and grape farm. I continue to live on the farm with my wife, three children and two dogs.
Since joining the BCM Board in 2005, I have worked hard to build upon and improve this established Mutual Insurance Company to be there for our valued policy holders when they need it and to continue to grow our roots in supporting the local community. I passionately believe that as a Board, our collective purpose is to provide integrity, oversight, and responsible governance for BCM while connecting with our mutual values daily.
As a 35+ year policy holder with BCM, I was honoured to become a Director in 2015. During my tenure as a Director with BCM Insurance I have served on several BCM committees including Advertising, Social Committee, Community Grants, and the annual CEO Performance Evaluation.
Joining the board of BCM in 2005 I have served on most committees including Chair in 2009 and 2019. I have a passion for being committed, responsible, and fair to all parties involved in order to deliver to policyholders in need as well as to continue to strengthen our company.
Committed to contributing to the BCM Board of Directors, I strive to be an engaged director and am presently sitting upon several BCM committees that are tasked with providing insight and guidance in respect to various organization related issues.
As the newest Director, joining in 2021, I am grateful for the opportunity to continue to build on my knowledge and experience while contributing to a mutual that strives to provide integrity, efficiency and respect to its policyholders.
From an early age my passion was to help others. I discovered that my purpose in life was to motivate, empower and make a difference. My life’s journey has given me the opportunity to work in an industry that helps people grow financially. With over 20 years of experience within the Banking industry I have been grateful to meet so many different people and to help them achieve their dreams. I started my education with a focus on social work by attending Niagara College and Brock University. A change in career paths and location led me to work in the financial services industry where I started out in entry level position to my current position as a Business Analyst for the largest Credit Union in Ontario.
I currently live in Fonthill with my 3 children, 2 cats, a dog and a fish who doesn’t have a name. I enjoy travelling the world with my heart always belonging to Italy. At home I love to run the hills of my town, volunteer with my children and attempt to play a round of golf at one of Niagara’s many courses.
