The BCM Summer Roundup
It was a busy summer at BCM Insurance! From supporting local organizations and community events to celebrating a few accomplishments of our own, we were grateful for every opportunity to get involved across Niagara.
As a mutual insurance company, giving back to the communities we serve is an important part of who we are. Here’s a look at some of what we’ve been up to over the past few months.
Adam White - 115Km Run for the Bridge Foundation
BCM team member Adam White took on an incredible challenge this September, running 115 kilometres across Niagara in support of The Bridge.
Adam began his run Saturday morning along the Welland Canal before making his way through the Friendship Trail and along the Niagara Parkway, eventually finishing in front of The Bridge on Queen Street, where supporters welcomed him with a community celebration and BBQ.
Adam’s Run the Region campaign reached its $20,000 fundraising goal, with the David & Joyce Muller family generously matching the funds raised - bringing the total to more than $40,000 in support of The Bridge.
We’re incredibly proud of Adam and everyone who helped support such a great cause.
Community Grants Program Recipients 2026
Each year, BCM’s Community Grant Program provides funding to local non-profit organizations making a meaningful difference in the communities we serve.

BCM On The Links
This summer, BCM was proud to sponsor golf tournaments hosted by the South Niagara and the Greater Niagara Chambers of Commerce. These events provide a great opportunity to connect with local businesses and community leaders while supporting organizations that play an important role in Niagara’s business community.
We’re always grateful for opportunities to get involved, build relationships and support the communities we call home.
OMIA Slo-pitch Champions Of The World
After years of determination - and more than a few seasons without a championship to show for it - the BCM softball team finally brought home the OMIA slo-pitch trophy! It took teamwork, persistence and, of course, some highly rigorous preparation, but the team managed to knock it out of the park when it counted.
We’re proud to officially add OMIA slo-pitch champions to the BCM résumé. We’ll try to keep knocking it out of the park—both on the field and for our policyholders.
Hope Floats Challenge 2026
The fourth annual Welland Hope Floats Challenge took place on August 15, 2026, at the Welland International Flatwater Centre. BCM was proud to participate in and support the event through our Community Grant Program. The afternoon brought teams together for dragon boat racing while supporting and celebrating cancer survivors.
It was a fantastic community event, and we were grateful for the opportunity to be part of it.
Welland Salsa and Cumbia Festival
BCM was also proud to sponsor and attend the Welland Salsa and Cumbia Festival, an evening filled with live music, art, culture and international cuisine. Events like this showcase the diversity that makes Niagara such a vibrant place to live and work. Supporting celebrations that bring people together is one of the many ways we’re proud to stay connected to our community.
A Summer Well Spent
From supporting local organizations and community events to cheering on our own team members, it was a memorable summer at BCM. Thank you to everyone who organized, volunteered, participated and welcomed us along the way.
